You’re Invited: Free Health Screens at Eagle Harbor Open House

Thursday, January 21st, 2010

“Our family care team hopes you’ll stop by to say hello. Take a few minutes to enjoy some refreshments, check out our practice, and have a health screen.”

Drs. Maryam Rostami and Kimberly Stone, board certified in Family Medicine, together with their staff, and the staff of Bon Secours In Motion Physical Therapy, are preparing for an Open House.

Eagle Harbor Medical Associates opened its doors in autumn, 2008 on Carrollton Blvd. in
Isle of Wight County. The practice opened quietly. Family medicine specialist Dr. Kimberly Stone was the sole practitioner, assisted by a hand-picked team.

The practice grew its space, expanding into a suite next door, and grew its staff, welcoming Dr. Maryam Rostami, a second Family Medicine specialist. Bon Secours In Motion Physical Therapy moved in, sharing its newly expanded space.

Like any good neighbor, Eagle Harbor Medical Associates knows that after you’ve made big improvements, you have to open your doors to friends and community members to see the to see the improvements, enjoy refreshments, and chat.

There’s more – including lots of free health screens and health info. Come and take advantage of the free HeartAware Health Assessments, and let us check your cholesterol levels, blood pressure and blood glucose.

Meet the doctors and tour the facility, and our partner practice, In Motion Physical Therapy.

The new clinics join the Bon Secours In Motion network of outpatient physical therapy clinics, known for outstanding clinical care, appointments within 24 hours, and convenient locations.

In Motion also offers the services of a Brooke Mercedes, a Registered Dietician who is integrating nutrition into In Motion’s rehabilitation, wellness and performance programs. You’ll be seeing lots more of Brooke in the year to come. The standard therapeautiv services offered across In Motion’s network focuses on classic physical therapy and sports rehabilitation for children, adults and seniors.

In addition, specialized therapy is offered at certain locations. Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Vestibular (balance re-training) therapy, and women’s health programs are among these special programs.

More locations are coming in 2010. We’ll keep you posted.
